White Powder Turned Smoke © 2000 is the first song I (Andrea) wrote. 

It travels through my memories of losing one of my great loves, Giuseppe, to crack cocaine, and how this horrific drug crept into our lives like an animal consuming him.  It took me 6 months to learn what was happening to him, and another 6 months to realize after many attempts, that addiction is something a person has to deal with themselves.  We can help them to find their way out, but it's up to them to do the work.  Ultimately, I left that relationship with a very dear man.  However he lives in Italy again, and is happily married to his longtime love, Sandra.

Listen as the profoundly talented Billy White weaves his sensitive and haunting original instrumentation and masterfully engineers this rich acoustic song.  Lyrics, and melodies written by Andrea. 

This is the first song I wrote and the 1st time I recorded.  Billy and I had one of the best times of our lives!
