One of the most beautiful guitars I'd ever laid eyes on, this James F. Patterson #241 was built in 05/2001.
Luthier, Bill Iberti said, "This guitar has an exceptional voice, with crisp bass and bell-like treble notes. It has been professionally set up and plays like a dream."
When you hear the warmth and well rounded voice of this beauty, you'll officially need it!
This is a vintage, used guitar built by Jim Patterson, a master Luthier known for his fine inlays and the sound of his instruments. Jim built only 301 Guitars in his career. When Jim passed at 87 years old in 2014, the world lost a very fine Luthier.
Note: The neck was broken and repaired some years ago. It is stronger than ever, and barely noticeable. Nor does it effect its sound or play-ability.
Jim's reputation as an artist in Pearl inlay stems from writing "The Book" on pearl inlay. Buyer will receive a copy of it with the purchase.
A little history:
In 1962 Jim wanted a 12 string guitar, but they were just too expensive, so he decided to make one. That was how he started making guitars as a hobby.
