The ocean is a mysterious place, more mysterious to humanity than the outreaches of outer space. A regal queen of the sea could dwell below the waves, astride her lion-fish, and accompanied by the people of her court, roaming her aquatic jungle with a knight at the ready to protect it from adversaries.

Christensen's work took inspiration from myth, legend and fantasy, and earned the awe of legions of fans.
