To say there's a bit of confusion about viewing the popular Kevin Costner and Kelly Reilly Western series, Yellowstone and it's two prequels, 1883 and 1923 is an understatement. Their profoundly gifted storyteller, producer, director and actor, Taylor Sheridan appears to have signed on with one, then jumped to another streaming service, which doesn't show all the seasons in the series. Ultimately, it became a nightmare for many people, figuring out where the heck to view them!
This rolling, epic tale spanning generations of a ranching family who were led to a magnificent piece of land in Montana where they decided to build, and the trials it takes for them to keep it. It's filled with many beloved and despised characters to keep us not only entertained, but to illustrate a slice of our nation's history, including some battles still being raged today.
In this blog, I'll teach you the most economical methods to view these programs.
My next blog will update you on where the series is going, and little about it's spinoffs, prequels, sequels and more.
Cut to the Chase: As of August 1st, 2023, Yellowstone, cable's most-watched drama has finished the first half of season 5 and we fans are waiting on the second half to arrive later this year.
The first 4 seasons and Season 5 Part 1 of Yellowstone can now be streamed on Peacock TV. You can watch one free episode, and will then have to subscribe to this venue. It's only $6 a month, with ads for their Premium service, and $12 without ads for the Premium+ plan (I recommend). Go to PeacockTV.com directly to create an account.
While Yellowstone isn't currently available on Netflix or Hulu, Seasons 1-4 are available for purchase through Amazon Prime, if you're already a member (Membership costs $139 yearly). Purchasing these individual episodes or seasons is pretty costly; $3 per episode, or $40 per season, but you wouldn't be the first person to make this mistake, as the Yellowstone marketing department has done poor job guiding viewers to the streaming platforms that screen it. That being said, the world of Taylor Sheridan's productions is ever-changing, with rerouting themes and episode additions.

Subscribing to some great apps through Amazon Prime
~Despite the fact that you can't subscribe to Peacock through your Amazon Prime account, if you're a Prime Member, you can add various apps to your membership, including Paramount+, AMC+, Starz and others.
~The beauty of this is that you'll log into your Amazon Prime account to view these streaming services, and all billing immediately happens through Amazon, so you can pay, track and cancel them easily, and automatically.
AMC+ has another Andrea favorite, Killing Eve, the hilarious Jodie Commer, Sandra Oh, Fiona Shaw series about a wonderfully quirky and fashionable psychopath and a mesmerized detective who's not only obsessed with, but eventually falls in love with her in this well written comedy drama.
~ Starz is offering a limited-time deal; only $0.99 per month, as of March 2, 2022. They host all current episodes of the finely produced historic fiction, Outlander, with Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan and Sophie Skelton. (Note; the author of this series inspired me to look at North Carolina as a point of escape from California!) See more on that in my blog, 'Journey to the Land of Water'
