Jonathan Beall is the founder of Sertodo Copper, a lovingly produced
line of handcrafted hammered copper goods, since 1997.
Sertodo Copper is an international cooperative of master copper artisans,
with workshops in Austin, Texas USA and Santa Clara del Cobre,
(cobre means copper!) a village high in the Sierra Madres
Occidental of Southwestern Mexico, in Michoacan.
Their spirit of cooperation and creation directs their vision and growth.
They are in the business of creating and delivering the highest quality copper
product that will meet your needs, which is why I'm so pleased to represent them.
They use 100% Recycled copper to make a product both functional and
aesthetic. Their products are made to be used and to give you a lifetime
of beautiful service and guarantee the quality of everything they make.
Each Sertodo Copper piece is individually handcrafted by autonomous
artisans in Santa Clara del Cobre.
These people have been working with copper since the pre-Hispanic era,
and led to this town's dominance in copper crafts over the colonial period (1519–1821)
until well into the 19th century.
Their tradition of copper work originated mysteriously over 1000 years ago.
These amazing artisans bring so much love to their craft...
you can feel it when you hold them.
They will grace your home for as long as you live!
