Fossilized Woolly Mammoth Kershaw Leek 4" Knife w Black Damascus Blade USA | Yellowstone Spirit

$ 444.99

| /

The 'Tree Ring' cut of the Fossilized Woolly Mammoth Tusk in the first knife pictured has rich, geometric patterns in warm browns, gold, black, cream and amber composed within 'the Tree Ring' cut of Woolly Mammoth Tusk.

The second knife pictured has a gorgeous, complex, softly blurred color combination, including shades of brown, charcoal, cream and a lovely rose hue like nothing I've ever seen.

The undersides of Woolly Mammoth tusks often show wear, suggesting that these prehistoric animals used them to scrape snow and ice off of the ground cover of the vegetation they were eating.

They also used their tusks for protection from predators, attraction during mating and as a display of dominance to other Woolly Mammoths. SFSW proudly show their respect by using this awe inspiring material in their best knives.
