Ironwood Turquoise Knife w Damascus | Yellowstone Spirit Southwestern Collection

Oh, what a rare find.  Even Santa Fe Stoneworks does not currently offer this striking piece on their own site - and the moment I saw it, I knew it belonged here. This is the kind of knife you don't just admire... you keep!

Desert Ironwood (Palo Fierro in Spanish) is native only to the Sonoran Desert, spanning southwestern Arizona and Northwestern Mexico. It is among the hardest and most dense woods in the world, prized for its durability and extraordinarily natural figuring. Each handle carries its own landscape- rich, varied tones shaped by time, heat, and desert wind.

The blade features Japanese San Mai Damascus Steel - a layered "sandwich" construction with VG-10 core, clad in 16 layers of stainless steel on each side.  The result exceptional edge retention, strength, and the unmistakable flowing Damascus pattern- both functional and visually arresting. At 3  with a lockback design, this knife offers everyday usability wrapped in heirloom-level craftsmanship.

Grounded in tradition, built for function, and undeniably beautiful- this is a piece for those who appreciate the spirit of the American West, whether drawn by Yellowstone, or the enduring legacy captured in Cowboys and Indians Magazines.
