Born with the spirit of openings and good luck, January embraces change, while honoring the past. An ancient doorway tradition involved awaiting a dark haired visitor bearing gifts of coal, bread, money, and greenery, which brought each home an abundance of warmth, food, money and a long life.
The visitor would then take a pan of dust and ashes outside, thus signifying the end of the old year.
Our January bracelet is a great medium-width, and rather fine cuff bracelet, with a chainmaille diamond suspended by 2 sections of curb chain. On either end of the bracelet is a partial chainmaille diamond, coming together with a tube/slide clasp.
The classic and simple slide tube clasp holds January's fine, multi strands in place.
